A spicy, creamy fettuccine dish with jalapeño, tequila, lime juice, and cilantro for a bold twist on classic Alfredo.
Cook fettuccine until al dente.
Pour soy sauce over diced chicken.
Sauté 1 Tbsp butter until melted, then cook garlic, jalapeño, and some cilantro.
Add chicken stock, tequila or white wine, and lime juice. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the remaining butter with shallot or onion and peppers.
Add chicken, the mixture set aside, and heavy cream.
Sauté until thick enough, then add fettuccine and the rest of the cilantro.
Top with parmesan before serving.
